A fun thing to do is track how much money Metallica makes per show. We’ve been doing it for a while now.

Their massive stadium tour last year pulled in anywhere between four and six million dollars a night, grossing a total of approximately $50 million. Earlier this year, on their European arena tour, they were averaging over $2 million a night. Holy crap!

Now, the Billboard numbers have come in for their arena tour, hitting mostly smaller markets – places they didn’t hit on their massive football stadium tour. These venues are more hockey and basketball arenas. Much like the Euro tour, each stop is making around two million a night. Here are the numbers according to Boxscore:
